My name is Sam Eigen. I am a student at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Music has been my longest running passion. I started playing piano at the age of 5, influenced by my grandmother who was a master pianist and a student at Juilliard. She had perfect pitch and passed down to me the skill of being able to notice the intricacies of different notes and pitches, which seemed to come naturally to me.

At age 9, I learned how to sight read and learned to play advanced classical pieces like Solfeggietto. Going into my freshman year of high school, I picked up the drums and guitar, and I became obsessed. I found a passion in music composition and started writing my own songs, tapping into my long-standing love of rock and alt music. I then scoured the internet for any videos I could find on music production and taught myself how to produce my own material.
